How reviews work on Vendorly
Our directory is only useful if the ratings are trustworthy. Here is exactly what happens between a submission and a published review.
Account required
Reviews can only be submitted from a signed-in account, and each account can leave one review per provider.
Human moderation
Submissions enter a pending queue. Our team checks them for spam, conflicts of interest, abusive language and unverifiable claims before publication.
Reporting and disputes
Anyone can report a published review. Providers who claim their profile can dispute content, and contested reviews are re-examined against our standards.
Independent ratings
Ratings are calculated automatically from published reviews only. Providers cannot pay to change their score, remove criticism or alter their position in rankings.
What we remove
- • Reviews written by the provider, its employees or its direct competitors.
- • Content with personal data, defamatory claims or abusive language.
- • Duplicate submissions and coordinated rating campaigns.
- • Feedback about an unrelated company or product.
