Data Methodology

Last updated: October 2026

Directory accuracy matters more to us than directory size. This page explains where our data comes from and how it is verified.

Sources

  • Provider websites and official documentation, captured with the source URL and capture date.
  • Regulator and licence registers, where applicable.
  • Provider-submitted information, which is labelled and queued for independent review before it affects a public listing.

Verification states

  • Verified — confirmed against a primary source by our research team, with a last-verified date shown on the profile.
  • Pending / needs review — collected but not yet confirmed; these records carry no ratings and limited public detail.
  • Not publicly disclosed — we could not find a reliable public source, so we say so instead of guessing.

What we never do

  • We never invent fees, licences, ratings, reviews, volumes, partnerships, supported countries or payment methods.
  • We never seed fake reviews or ratings, and we never scrape or reuse proprietary data from other directories.
